ReachLife will be releasing a new Before You Die Gospel Tract CD later this year. There has been a huge amount of new songs released since the last Before You Die Gospel Tract and we want to know which songs you believe would be the most effective in your ministry to include on the newest tract.

Also, which artists would you like to hear testimonies from?

Please comment below and let us know what you think.

You can still purchase the original Before You Die Gospel Tract CD here.

you Gotta put The Invasion on there and then put Chase That on there.

Posted by Jason L on July 5, 2011 at 12:27pm

I agree with Will on The Invasion.  Divine Intervention is another good one.  As far as what the Christian life looks like (Sanctification) I think Tedashii’s Make War would be good.  Need it daily would also be good because as believers we need to continue to preach the Gospel to ourselves daily.

Testimonies of any of the artists would be good.

Grace upon grace,
Jason

How about a new Christmas CD. The fam(wife/kids) look forward the Gift Wrapped CD every year. Can we get a volume 2..

Posted by Chambers on July 5, 2011 at 12:58pm

Not sure what was on the last gospel tract so forgive me if I repeat songs but I think “blow your high” and “the good life” by lecrae, “unconditional” and “make war” by tedashii “the invasion”, “prognosis” and “covenant eyes” by trip lee. Also I’ve seen “take me as I am” and “go hard” by lecrae used effectively before but figured y’all had those on the last one. Testimony by KB would be good and not sure if BJ from Memphis is still considered 116 but would love to see his testimony on there. Preciate yall

“Not Guilty” by Pro

Posted by Michelle M on July 18, 2011 at 10:32pm

I was just thinking that would b an awesome idea and then found it was being planned just now, bc I have tried making my own mixes to give to people. I only got into the Holy Hip Hop starting 2010 when I heard Lecrae’s Background and got hooked, but there are so many awesome Christian rappers that I cant wait to go to itunes and buy more songs. Songs in my collection that are powerful in evangelism to me—although Christian hip hop is mostly evangelism—are Lecrae’s Take Me as I Am, Heaven and Hell, Blow Your High, Don’t Waste Your Life, Chase That(with Intro),  Boasting (ft. Anthony Evans) Background (ft. C-Lite), Far Away, Just Like You, The Invasion (ft. Jai) by Trip Lee, Brag on My Lord by Trip, Reverse(ft.C-Lite), and That Will Be the Day by Tedashii, definitely testimonies. Reach Records is amazing but if any songs outside were able to be put on the cd, i recommend G.O.S.P.E.L. by Propaganda, Love (ft. Bruno Mars) by Jaeson Ma, Lose My Soul (ft. Kirk Franklin, Mandisa) by Toby Mac; I have confidence in God to show wisdom in this endeavor. Thanks to Lecrae who got me into hiphop and all the rappers who rep Jesus unashamedly well. Could be a multiple cd collection bc of all the good songs. . .

Don’t choose according to YOUR tastes but choose according to the lyrical content and how it will reach out to your surroundings and to people who don’t know God. The songs I think will reach out the most are: Killa by Lecrae, Chase That by Lecrae, Like That by Lecrae, My Life by Sho Baraka, Finally by Tedashii, Hollywood by Tedashii, Transformers by Tedashii, Twisted by Trip Lee

Im not going to list my faviorite songs just because there my favorite, but i think songs that would make a HUGE impact would be KIlla-off rehab and strung out off of overdose, because they both signafy sin as a very seductive woman and how that woman(sin) is a killa and we need to break up with her!!another 2 would be covanant eyes, off Between two worlds. Its a club banger..the song is incredable but its funny because trip an pro are talking about lust and how we should be staring at woman that walk by on the streets..the eye is the soul to the body..i think,MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, we need to hear songs like that because its the one thing ALL YOUNG MEN have a problem with.Grace an peace!!

Posted by chris weed on September 22, 2011 at 2:00pm

I had alot of typos my last comment.COVANANT EYES deals with something all men deal with..lust we should not be staring at woman with lust,,but as a young man iv naturally made it a habbit to stare a womans backside with lust..most men do,,so to have songs like that would be a very smart move beacause well….point blank,,its needed..thank you

Posted by chris weed on September 22, 2011 at 2:03pm

SECOND..i would like to hear testmonies from trip lee or andy mineo just because of the fact that there the youngest..and these young kids need to know that its kool to serve the Lord at age 14 16 or 18 ect..thank you

We are starting a curbside Club outreach next month. Setting up some TV’s with games, music (courtesy of 116), and some food trusting on God to draw them in. We also will be giving out pamphlets, CD’s/DVD’s (to include ‘Before You Die’), and of course the Word. Until that Ministry becomes seasoned we won’t know what ‘works’ so to speak. I’m leaning toward Dum-Dum, Carry Mine, Used To Do It Too, Don’t Waste Your Life, Need It Daily, Do You Feel, Strung Out, and Chase That. Only really familiar with Lecrae, Tedashii, and 13 Letters tracks, sorry. Slowly building up the 116 library. However, I have been very impressed with Trip Lee when he speaks, especially after seeing him throughout ‘The Curriculum’ DVD along with 13 Letters. His teaching strikes me because he is so young and dedicated since such an early age. I think his teaching on the current ‘Before You Die’ is amazing and don’t know that it needs anything else. It seems Thi’sl has a powerful background testimony as well. I know you all will listen to what God is speaking to you through the Holy Spirit and will move forth in excellence as you have been. Know that many of us are praying for you as 116 is reaching not just the more mainstream Gospel crowd, but cracking into the secular eardrums as well.

I have almost 1100 songs from the “Holy Hip Hop” genre. Everything Reach has ever produced, everything from Reflection Music Group, everything from LampMode Music. So I had a lot of music to go through to pick out these songs. I think as far as a “tract” goes, you want it to tell a story. So here is the story I think the next tract CD should tell.

1. 20/20 (Intro) - Trip Lee
2. Night of the Livin - C-Lite
3. Bad Ain’t Good - FLAME
4. Overrated - Sho Baraka
5. Surrender - FLAME

9. God is Enough - Lecrae
10. Bury Me - Tedashii
11. Background - Lecrae
12. Gotta Grow - Trip Lee
13. Need it Daily - Tedashii
14. No Worries (Remix) - Trip Lee
15. 116 - Pro ft. KB
16. Get Busy - Trip Lee
17. Finally - Tedashii
18. Tonight - FLAME
19. Joyful Noise - Flame ft. Lecrae

I would definitely like to hear some more testimonies from artists other than the ones we’ve already heard from on the first “Before You Die.” You must include Tedashi, Lecrae and Trip Lee on the next CD. The first CD was definitely a piece of The Master Himself. I am looking forward to part 2 and spreading the word!!! Keep letting the good Lord use you. How relevant it is to the Hip Hop culture.
